The German modernist architect and designer Peter Behrens (1868-1940), founder of the Münchener Sezession, in 1904 was director of the Kunstgewerbeschule in Düsseldorf, and a distinctly modernist one. Behrens contributed to this beautiful work with a frontispice and vignettes. This is an impressionistic, autobiographical work by Cäsar Flaischlen (1864-1920). Printed by Drugulin in Leipzig, October-December.
