Contained in a portfolio in an attractive morocco-backed slipcase with richly gilt spine, title 'Orestes/ ALS/ Richard/ Le/ Gallienne'. Somewhat coquettish Le Gallienne mentions he is glad to accept Maxwell's invitation to send more of his works to him. Amos Perriton Maxwell (1866-1947) was for a long time editor of various magazines before embarking upon a career as a novelist.
