About auto-massage, illustrated with some 60 pictures of the author, fully naked, massaging himself. Some of his photographed massage actions seem not far from masturbation. Surén suffered from narcissism and a grossly inflated ego. He later was an active nazi. After a period of huge popularity in the 20's and 30's, his books were discarded during the Second World War, and he himself accused of obscenities.
