Finely bound by Belz-Niedree (signed on the turn-ins) of Paris in full red morocco tooled in blind and gold on the front and rear panel, edges ruled in gold, spine with five raised bands, gilt lettering and decorations, gorgeous gilt inner dentelles, blue silk moiré endpapers, all edges gilt. Color frontispiece and twenty-two inserted plates with spectacular chromolithographs by the publisher. Last plate is erroneously numbered 23. The rear panel shows a few stains and some wear, the front panel very moderate wear. Very light scattered foxing throughout. ; Quarto. .
