Green morocco binding with brown inlaid leather forming flowers and gilt details. Also partly decorated blind stamped. Five raised bands on spine, gilt letters and lines on spine. Spine faded to brown. Turn-ins decorated with gilt. Slipcase decorated with marbled paper, slipcase with wear and some loss. Marbled end papers. Top edge of pages gilt. Original covers bound in. Contents with a little foxing, a few pages (mainly those facing an illustration) browned. Very beatifull illustrations by Georges Rochegrosse. Limited edition of 312 copies, this being number 298 printed on Velin d'Arches. More photo's available upon request.
