Front board with bass coloured metal decorations and decorated in with floral decorations in colour by hand. With colour portrait of Petrarch on the front board. Spine and back decorated with foliage. Wear to binding, with leather straps. Back board with a small dent along the lower edge. End papers decorated with foliage in gilt and green. With frontispiece. A little foxing, mainly to the first few leaves, page 146 and 147 in the top corner browned, otherwise good. Unique binding. More photo's available upon request.
