Plates preceded by biographical essay for each artist: Corot (7), Daubigny (3), Decamps (1), Delecroix (4), Diaz (2), Dupre (2), Fromentin (1), Gericault (1), Millet (2), Rousseau (4), Troyon (3). Edition limited to 50 copies, therefore extremely scarce. Slight rippling at page bottoms. No slipcase present. Inscribed name of Mr. John B. Leifried J.R. Evans Roberts on bottom of front cover. VG, but front cover hinge dinged area of lower right edge. Internally VG+. This copy was presented to J.R. Evans Roberts, whose name is embossed in gilt on the lower left front cover .
