The title is gilted on the spine, and there are five raised bands (each) with some additional decorative gilting. Both volumes have red and gold headbands. The end pages are designed with purple marbeling. Pagination as follows: Volume one pages: (8), 1-377, (1); Volume two pages: (unnumbered, ~365). 356 illustrations and a fold-out map. Written in Spanish. The first volume is the text and the second volume has the illustrations. VG: Exlibrary books. Volume one has a tear on the pasted end page where the old cardpocket was, in addition to a new card pocket glued into the page before. Volume two has a cardpocket on the pasted end page. Both have ownership plates glued to the front pasted end page. There are various light pencil markings in both on the pages preceeding the main text. Both also have a sticker at the base of their spine. They are in very nice condition, with tight binding and neat pages. Some wear to the spines, but readable copies.
