The paper overwrap cover has a red stamp of the front and the title is printed in black and red font. The spine is designed with small frames and the title and volume number printed on. Deckled edges. Pages: (x), xi, (1), 1-207. "Esemplare numero 318" is printed on the back pasted end page. Profusely riddled with black-and-white illustrations; there are also several tipped-in color plates and a few fold-out illustrations. Written in Italian. This is only volume three. VG+: A beautiful book with textured pages that are safely bound together and not machine-uniform. A date has been added in pencil on the front free end page. The dust jacket is in good condition. There are tears along the spine on the glassine cover, on the back right bottom corner, and alongside the spine on the back cover. Some of the paper cover beneath the glassine is wearing away at the bottom and top of the spine. It also has some faint discoloration due to age and sun exposure .
