Rebound in brown full leather with gilt border design; spine has 5 raised bands with gilt ruling, burgundy leather title block with gilt lettering, (10), XXXVIII, 117 pp, 25 plates. Illustrated with twenty-five engravings of some of the capital statues, bustos and relievos. In this work are introducted the Anecdotes and Remarks of Thomas Earl of Pembroke, who collected these antiques, now first published from his Lordship's MSS."- title page. Includes a list of subscribers. VG- (recently rebound in full leather, pages lightly age toned but otherwise very clear, all 25 plates present, page 117 is misnumbered 93) .
