Of the 53 numbered plates, 18 are double leaves, hinged in at the center fold. Of these 18, 8 are 3-color halftones. One single-leaf plate is in color. The bw plates are photoaquatints. Plate A (between p. 16 and 17) is a photo-lithograph of a schematic drawing of Le Nozze, conveying present condition. All paltes are by Danesi, Rome. From the scenes of Odysseus and other antique murals conserved in the Vatican Library. Good- (heavy wear to covers with most of leather spine missing, pencil markings to title page and title half page, light foxing to block) .
