Volume 1 only of a 2 volume set with thorough descriptions and beautiful photographs of both exterior and interior views of 28 of the world's best-known cathedrals. Several from England are represented, as well as ones from Italy, Spain, France, Antwerp and St. Patrick's in NY. Good (heavy shelfwear to boards with most of leather spine missing and crude taped repairs, beginning and end pages are loose but all plates are present. Light water damage along borders of plates 116, 124 and 152 along with the last end pages) .
