Dampstaining to upper edge of first three pages. Lower corner of pages and plates curled. Pages remain fairly bright. A rough copy of this rare edition. Would be an excellent candidate for rebinding. Albertolli's aquatint illustrations of Sanmicheli buildings remain striking and detailed. Also includes floor-plans and details of some of the respective buildings embellishments. Fair+ (front board detached; rear board detaching, still held by binding joints. boards are severely worn & chipped w/ front corner severed. rear board has areas of dampstaining. pages rippled. opening intro pgs detached from textblock; plate 1-4, have partially detached. spine binding strip erroded at head & tail. speckled & spotted foxing throughout, remains fairly light to instances of moderate) .
