He worked as an art teacher in Schwerin from 1916 and founded the artist group "Die Pforte" in Heidelberg together with Richard Benz in 1921, which published books, posters and other printed works according to his own ideas. Since 1920 Wolf was a professor at the State Art School in Karlsruhe. He emigrated to the USA in 1938."-website.
