Added is a transcript of the log-book of Captain Pike, the commander of the ship on both expeditions; a number of facts relating to Mr. Verhoeff, the only missing member of either party, with letters from his relatives giving the arguments in favor of their belief that he is still alive, and the correspondence between the young man and Lieut.
