Appears to be a gallery or museum rebound of the 1924 Brentano's edition, but with only the plates. Copy has many additional illustrations/clippings of Kauffmann from gallery or art magazines taped to cover endpapers and opening and closing pages--many have detached from aging tape and are laid-in. Eight others are high quality, glossy black and white reproductions, with four loose and stamped from the Royal Academy Of Arts, London and hand-numbered. An additional black and white reproduction is stamped and numbered, "Soprintendenza Alle Gallerie, Firenze; Gabinetto Fotografico." All plates from the original Brentano's appear to be present. An interesting artifact. VG. (scuffs & wear to covers; spine ends creased. bumping or rubbing to corners. light foxing to upper textblock. interior clean) .
