Description: Boston, Swett's Zincography, Producer, 1852. Unbound. circa 1852. Single sheet, linen backed, measuring roughly 40 ½ by 33 inches. Wooden dowels at the top and bottom of the map. An early map depicting parts of the White Mountains and the Lake Region of New Hampshire. Also present are various railroad lines in New Hampshire, including those running through the White Mountains and one running from Dover, NH to Alton Bay. POOR/FAIR condition. 6 inch vertical tear running from the center top edge into a portion of the White Mountains. Tearing and cracking along the top edge and upper left corner, with some closed presumably from the linen backing. General wrinkling and creasing. Some areas of whitish scuffing to the map. Map appears varnished and is very fragile and brittle. Bent, p. 84. Poor .
