Issue number 17 of this influential New York magazine, founded by Legs McNeil and John Holmstrom. Holmstrom, a cartoonist influenced by underground comics, dreamed of being for the punks what Crumb had been for the hippies.' (Berniere and Primois p. 217). featuring pieces on The Clash, David Johansen, Destroy All Monsters and Alice Cooper, among other musicians, with cartoons and graphics interspersed among photos. A cartoon strip by Ken Weiner is present, as well as a reimagining of the Kennedy assassination. GOOD condition. Minor fading, with some toning to the rear cover. Rear cover with minor soiling. Spine scuffed. Good .
