Accordion fold interior, with 18 total plates. No title page, appears it may not have been issued with one. A work depicting the military uniforms from the various countries in Europe, all depicted in color and with a variety of military branches. Tiny captions with each plate. Includes Italy, France, Germany, England, Russia, Norway and Sweden, Austria Hungary, Greece and others. POOR condition. Heavy staining and discoloration to the front cover along the top, that while appearing mildewy, is not (in our opinion), but is just unfortunate discoloration from water exposure. Other staining and soiling to the covers. Cloth spine mostly perished, mostly missing, rendering the binding rather fragile. Extremities scuffed and worn. Upper corner rounded. Dampstain present to all pages at the top edge, with it slightly affecting a few of the first several plates. General toning and minor scattered foxing in the interior. Poor .
