A publicity photograph of the gay cabaret and drag acting troupe Bloolips. Founded by Bette Bourne after participating in the European tour of the American gay troupe Hot Peaches. The troupe got its start in the late 1970s and toured and performed to the early 1990s. Bourne's philosophy around the troupe led it to demonstrate a new way for men to be men, rather than men playing stereotypes of women. GOOD condition. Unfortunate 1 ¾ inch horizontal tear along the lower right corner, with that piece almost detached and barely hanging on. Minor toning, soiling and a few finger smudges. Good .
