Single issue of this underground newspaper devoted to counterculture and radical issues, often aligned with the White Panther Party and John Sinclair. This issue with a front cover photo of Roosevelt Love and an article on his plight; a report on the Black Panther Party and their conference against fascism; a piece on the sentencing of John Sinclair for drug possession, etc. Of note is the Blues Festival insert, chock full of photos of performers, along with articles on performers such as Lightnin' Hopkins, B.B. King, Howlin' Wolf, Willie Mae Thornton and others. GOOD condition. Heavy toning. Paper a little brittle, with some splitting along the spine. A few tiny tears along the edges. Small chip missing from the lower right front cover corner. Good .
