This featured dancing to 3am, as well as the cast of Vegas in Space, Miss X, the Dazzling Chi Chi, Gina Lotrimin, Dragon Queens, etc. Logo of the drag club Dragstrip 66 appears at the upper right corner. Gambling for charity was offered, benefitting Project 101. Vegas in Space was a cult drag film. Written and filmed in the early 1980s, it took the filmmaker and producers almost ten years to raise the funds to be able to finish and release the film. Filmed by Philip R. Ford, and written by Doris Fish, the movie provided a deliberately campy take on 1950s style science f iction B (or C or D) movies, following three male astronauts disguised as Vegas showgirls, solving an interstellar mystery on the all female planet Clitoris. The movie starred Doris Fish, Tippi, and Miss X, members of the noted San Francisco drag group, Sluts a Go Go. While never a box office smash, the movie earned a cult following. GOOD+ condition. Minor fading to the front, with some toning along the extremities of the reverse. Good .
