BLK magazine was founded in 1988 by Alan Bell, to provide news and information about AIDS to the Black gay and lesbian community in the Los Angeles area. At first distributed free in the LA area, the magazine evolved into a journal providing news to the Black community, with a focus on LGBTQ+ issues. It ended publication in 1994. GOOD condition.
