A history of the Fourteenth Regiment New Hampshire Volunteers during the Civil War, spanning the years 1862 to 1865. This includes accounts of the Louisiana Campaign, The Shenandoah, the Battle of the Opequan, Battle of Fisher's Hill, Cedar Creek, the Georgia campaign, etc. FAIR condition, ex-library; spine label and tape scar on the upper spine/front cover, interior pockets, stampings and pastedowns present. Lower 2 ½ inches of the backstrip MISSING from the spine, with some chipping, tearing and loss of cloth to the head of the spine. Minor soiling and a few small stains to the covers. Rear cover more moderately stained, with spotting and offsetting. General fading and toning. Minor bumping and scuffing to the extremities. General toning in the interior. Rear interior hinge separating but intact. Old tape repairs in the gutters of both the front and rear covers. Fair .
