A magazine/zine style work providing news and event information for the community of Silver Lake in greater Los Angeles. This issue with an interview with Brian Grillo, the openly gay front man for the punk band Extra Fancy. The group formed in the mid 1990s, eventually signed by Atlantic Records, with the intent of using the band in their marketing geared toward the gay community. However the marketing was shut down soon after and the band was dropped. Extra Fancy broke up in late 1997 (see allmusic website for previous information). Also included is a piece on the history of Walt Disney in the area, etc. GOOD condition. Moderate toning to the paper, with minor curling and edgewear. Good .
