Created by The Hollywood Kids, John Nichols and Lance, the eponymous Hollywood Kids a zine created after their Street Gossip zine, was an attempt by the two to become famous. (At one point they even hosted a radio show and a cable television show). The zine focused on reporting about Hollywood celebrities, especially gossip, with their Small Talk column gaining the zine a must read status in the LA area. The zine also contained interviews, reviews of shows, etc. This issue with an interview with the space rock band Tangerine Dream; photos and captions depicting various attendees at the benefit AID FOR AIDS, as well as a similar spread for the MTV Video Music Awards Party '88, along with the latest gossip. GOOD condition. Uneven toning. A few small rust stains to the lower rear cover. Minor chipping along the edges. Light creasing. Good .
