Description: Chicago, U-Bahn, Publisher. Unbound. no date, presumed early 1990s. Single sheet, 8 ½ by 11 inches. Orange paper stock. Printed on a single side only. Flyer/handbill for a Victorian Bondage Masquerade Ball held at U-Bahn, a legendary (mythical?) gay nightclub in Chicago. U-Bahn opened in 1989, although our research did not find when it closed. Besides games and prizes, this event was to be hosted by Devine Motif, with a guest appearance by Jim Marcus of Die Warzau. Vintage Chicago LGBTQ+ street cred with this piece, although unfortunately in FAIR condition. Several small holes/tears in the paper, with slight loss of text in one area. Some soiling and staining to the paper, with a small area of gunk to the lower edge. Apparent shoe print to the back of the flyer, which explains the stippled imprints of sand grains all over the paper. Some wrinkling and creasing. Just think of the things this flyer has seen!. Fair .
