A single issue of this magazine for children, focusing on learning and school, and containing moral tales, essays on hurricanes, rhinoceros, etc. This magazine was apparently a continuation, under a different name, of several other children's magazines (The Boys' and Girls' Journal) published by Charles Fithian. It appears this iteration lasted only a year, with no subsequent publications. GOOD condition. Moderate scuffing, some chipping and tearing along the extremities, with minor creasing. Wrappers split along the spine, tenuously holding together. Minor toning, soiling and staining to the covers and interior. Several of the first several pages with 1 inch tears to their fore edge margins. Good .
