Illustrated wraps, with a long, leporello/accordion fold out illustration in the interior. Rear cover a map of Lac Leman and the surrounding areas, with what appears to be boat lines present. Measures 6 ¾ by 5 ¼ inches. Interior folds out to approximately 18 feet. Color illustrations by E. Vullemin, depicting the various participants and costumes. A piece issued to commemorate the sixth Fete des Vignerons, or festival of winegrowers. Held since 1797, the festival happens approximately once a generation. The 1889 version featured 1379 actors. GOOD condition. Minor toning, fading and soiling to the wrappers. Minor tearing and creasing along the edges. One fold protruding from the interior, with a small piece missing from its center. Good .
