Lisa Carver is an American performance artist whose work explores transgressive sex, gender politics and other subjects. She was part of the underground band/troupe Suckdog, who performed opera that "always had lots of rape, murder and revolution," (quote from Lisa Carver in her essay, "Sassy Ladies in Leotards Flying Like Angels.").
