An underground newspaper issued by members of the US Armed Forces stationed at Fort Dix in New Jersey. The newspaper advocated for soldiers' rights, as well as an end to the Vietnam War. This issue with a lengthy essay on seven demands the GI movement was making to the army. Also included is an article highlighting the persecution faced by Lawrence Ostreff, who admitted he was gay to his superiors. Upon this declaration he was asked to supply the names of his sex partners, to which he refused, as they would be potentially charged with sodomy. Ostreff was charged with dishonorable discharge and denied access to civilian lawyers. GOOD condition. horizontal fold crease present, with moderate to heavy toning to the paper. minor splitting along the spine fold and the left side of the horizontal fold. Good .
