He was noted for his knowledge and developments in the field of rare books, including African-American material (University of Southern Mississippi Libraries website). GOOD condition. Center vertical crease present. Minor to moderate soiling to the covers, heavier to the front, with dark offsetting/soiling along the front cover extremities. Minor creasing and general browning.
