A work analyzing beauty in women through anatomical and physiological considerations, including facial structure, digestive system, thinking systems etc. In FAIR condition. Bound in finely ribbed dark brown cloth with minor ornamentation and banding in blind. Several white paint specks present to the front cover. Moderate uneven fading and scuffing. Minor to moderate soiling. Heavy wear to the cloth on the spine, with several punctures/ insect holes in the cloth as well as tearing almost the entire length of both hinges. Some tattering and fraying to the cloth, mostly to the head of the spine, with some minor loss. Some bumping and scuffing to the extremities with the cloth worn through at the corners. Interior hinges weak but intact. Minor to moderate scattered soiling, with some foxing throughout.Light dampstain present from page 365 to the end, affecting mostly the fore edge margin and the text (slightly) in that locale. Fair/No Jacket.
