Fascinating collection of addresses and letters related to Maryland and Baltimore history. 11 addresses covering a variety of occasions: "Opening of the Collegiate Department in the University of Maryland" (1831); before the Horticultural Society of Maryland at its First Annual Exhibition (1833); and at the ".Inauguration of the Peabody Institute," to name a few. 11 historical letters as well on such major issues as Secession, Revolution, Rebellion, Conspiracy, State Rights and Sovereignty, and Peace. An important collection. Good.
