First printing in very good condition. Gilt edges to all leaves. The only obvious flaw is that there is a chip to the spine of Volume I and chip to bottom edge of Volume 2. Names of former owner on label pasted to front pastedowns. Binding firm. Two volumes: 76 + 90 pp. Volume 1 has 34 steel-engraved plates and Volume II has 41 steel engraved plates plus index. Both are in very good condition with firm binding and no separation. All plates has protective tissue guards and light to no foxing mainly to margins of plates. A wealth of engravings still in bright condition and with learned commentary. Images upon request. Very Good.
