Very good 4-page newspaper showing tanning and two folds (horizontal and vertical) with tiny slit where the two folds meet in the middle of each page and 1" closed tear to foredge of p. 1. Also, two small light spots to pp. 1 and 2 and 2 light spots to p. 4. Printed above masthead is "Complete Issue byu William Faulkner" It prints, for the first time, his short story "Once Aboard the Lugger" on pages 1 and 4 (published decades later in "Uncollected Stories") and eight poems: "I Willl Not Weep for Youth," "Knew I Love Once," "Twilight," "Visions in Spring," "Spring," "To a Virgin," "Winter Is Gone," and "My Epitaph." There are 3 advertisements for Faulkner's firsrt six novels and advertisement on p. 4, "A Copy of William Faulkner's 'Sanctuary' Free With each yearly subscription at one dollar and a half," with name "Contempo" and place: Chapel Hill, North Carolina printed at bottom of ad. There are two review columns: "Theater" by Barrett H. Clark and "Books on Review" by Ajax (including a review of Faulkner's "These Thirteen." Extremely rare Faulkner item. Very Good.
