All of these four volumes (from a complete set of five) are in good condition with a multitude of flaws and infelicities. Bound in full-leather covered boards with read leather spine labels, all are scraped and scuffed with substantial rubbing, wear at the tips and edges, a few small places of an adherent, etc. The only decline in the text that we have noted is in volume four where the title-page and the first four pages of the contents list are missing. Surprisingly, the interior foxing is mostly light. Several page corners are creased. While this is not a pretty partial set, it is readable and perfectly functional. Good.
