Description: New York, 1879. First Edition. 0 pp. Disbound. Very good, original and complete newspaper. Tanning to pages, mild wear to spine where disbound, dampstain along narrow strip of foredge and bottom edge of some pages, tears to corners, short tears and chipping toedges of first and last pages. Printed herein is of one of the last letters written by Charles Dickens,naddressed to "J.M.M." about his writing containing no negative religious allusions, but, to the contrary, his writings show respect for the life and teachings of Christ (p. 6). Also, a paragraph about his home, Gad's Hill Place. jAlso, "Colorado's New Wealth: III. Iron Mine and Carbonate Hill, (p. 3), "Texas As It Is: The Northern Counties" (p. 5), and an essay on the Rothschilds. Good.
