Both volumes are bound in three-quarter leather with marbled paper covered boards. The original yellow endpapers are in volume though the free leaf is excised on both voumes. The first volume has brief scattered foxing, a dampstain on the bottom on one-third of the text, and a partially loosened signature. Volume two has widely scattered foxing. Both volumes are are the first state of the first printing with the ascender of the "d" in line with the "r" in the line two on page 88; the "the Dicksons are fewer, and have" appears on page 370. Very Good.
