Description: London, W. Botham, for John and Paul Knapton, 1738. 9th edition. Hardcover. 504p. Ex-library; REBOUND. A hardcover book in POOR CONDITION. The spine is rebacked in red cloth, but is heavily stained. The front board is detached, despite the partial rebinding. Edges are heavily scuffed. Contains the bookplate of the Chicago Theological Seminary, as well as an owner's signature dated 1803. The binding is very brittle and likely to crack if opened too wide. The text itself is unmarked. Damaged but readable, and OFFERED AS-IS. Classic defense of the existence of God against Enlightenment rationalism. Fair .
