The spine is faded and has an old circular label near the bottom. Corners bumped; dents on edges of rear board. Old notations and bookplates on front and back endpapers. Tiny tear at top of rear free endpaper. Except for occasional fingerprint smudges and age-related blemishes, the text is clean. The binding is tight as well. Church of Ireland minister Robert James M'Ghee (1789-1872) was an active anti-Catholic speaker and author. He amassed a collection of Catholic books which he donated to Cambridge University and the Bodleian Library as examples of alleged papal "crimes. Very Good .
