Jonathan Townley Crane ( (1819-1880) was the father of author Stephen Crane. A Methodist minister and abolitionist, Jonathan Townley Crane wrote extensively on religious subjects, including temperance. This particular book is probably his best-known work, in which he argues that dancing is evil and indecent. Measures approx. 6" x 4. Fair .
