Description: New York, Union Publishing House, 1886. Hardcover. 601p. A hardcover book bound in decorated dark purple cloth. Acceptable condition, considering its age. Edges are worn and frayed; heaviest wear at top and bottom of spine. Light crease down center of spine as well. Hinges were cracked, but have been repaired with archival tape, and though still a bit shaky, the binding is tight enough for reading purposes. Pages tanned with age, but text unmarked. Illustrated with lots of black and white engravings. Fair .
