Crease in front endpaper and faint, spotty stains on rear endpaper. Early owner's gift inscription on a blank front endpaper, and discoloration in gutter of pages 58-59 where a small leaf was pressed. Otherwise, text clean. Silly poems by W.S. Gilbert (of Gilbert & Sullivan fame) featuring his own cartoon illustrations. This is an undated 19th-century edition; the owner's inscription is dated 1870. Good .
