Good reading condition. Spines lightly chafed; library labels at bottom of both spines. Front hinge of volume 1 was cracked, but has been repaired with heavy-duty tape, so the binding is tight enough for normal handling. Small tear in volume 1's front endpaper. Volume 2 is heavily dampstained; back cover is warped, the front hinge is cracked, and the pages toward the back are badly wrinkled. The rear endpapers are torn. Apart from the usual library markings, the text is unmarked in both volumes. A compendium of writings by Church Fathers dealing with the interpretation of Scripture. Complete in two volumes; all text in Latin. Both volumes measure approx. 11.75" x 9.5. Fair .
