Front cover is detached and boards are heavily scuffed all over; however, the entire cover is protected and held together in a removable plastic wrapper. Library stamps and labels inside front cover, and early owner's inscription on front free endpaper, giving some information about the author. Some toning and foxing to front and back endpapers; text itself is unmarked. A damaged but readable copy. Gratham Killingworth (1699-1778) was an English Baptist who wrote numerous polemical tracts. In this particular tract, he urges Protestant ministers to reject infant baptism in order to further distance themselves from Catholic practices. Fair .
