The first six volumes are bound in 3/4 brown leather with marbled boards; the last three are bound in green cloth. Volumes 1-6 have scuffed edges and old labels on the spines. Various library markings inside, and pages mildly age-toned. Scattered, unobtrusive pencil marks in the margins; most pages are clean. Volumes 7-9 have no external library markings, but do have call numbers and stamps on the endpapers and title page. Otherwise clean and tight. The original 6-volume set with 3-volume supplement. The supplement volumes are 1968 facsimiles of the 1878-80 edition from Librairie de Firmin-Didot, produced by Rosenkilde & Bagger of Copenhagen. Text is in French. Jacques Charles Brunet (1780-1867) was a French bibliographer; this bibliographical dictionary is among his best-known works. Fair .
