Light foxing and soiling as well, but still mostly intact. A study of Modernism in the Catholic Church, with a lengthy chapter on Pope Pius X's anti-Modernist crusade. The author examines how Modernism works in each major European country and in the United States, and critiques the spirit of the First Vatican Council and ultramontanism. Very Good .
