The edges are rubbed and the top of the spine is a bit chipped, about 1/8" deep. The front hinge was cracked, but has been repaired. Early owner's ink signature on the title page, dated 1760. Another owner's signature on the following leaf, this one undated. Pages browned and foxed with age, but text otherwise unmarked. A scarce volume from the mid-18th century in good condition overall. RARE THIRD EDITION in English, published in 1754. Measures approx. 5.25" x 3.5.
