Edges chipped, with a few spots reinforced with old pieces of tape. More liberal use of tape on the edges of the reverse side. A clearly used but still readable vintage book. This is an unauthorized American edition that was released after the original British publisher failed to obtain a U.S. copyright on Beatrix Potter's Peter Rabbit character. Illustrated with color plates by J.L.G. Measures approx. 5.7" x 4.3.
